Search for low-mass electron-recoil dark matter using a single-charge sensitive SuperCDMS-HVeV Detector
SuperCDMS Collaboration, M. F. Albakry, I. Alkhatib +146
We present constraints on low-mass dark matter electron scattering and absorption interactions using a SuperCDMS high-voltage eV-resolution (HVeV) detector. Data were taken undergr…
Multi-channel, multi-template event reconstruction for SuperCDMS data using machine learning
M. F. Albakry, I. Alkhatib, D. Alonso-Gonzalez +139
SuperCDMS SNOLAB uses kilogram-scale germanium and silicon detectors to search for dark matter. Each detector has Transition Edge Sensors (TESs) patterned on the top and bottom fac…
Low-Energy Calibration of SuperCDMS HVeV Cryogenic Silicon Calorimeters Using Compton Steps
SuperCDMS Collaboration, M. F. Albakry, I. Alkhatib +148
Cryogenic calorimeters for low-mass dark matter searches have achieved sub-eV energy resolutions, driving advances in both low-energy calibration techniques and our understanding o…
Applying Geant4's Importance Biasing to improve the efficiency of SuperCDMS background simulations
B. Zatschler, A. J. Biffl, R. Calkins +6
Experiments searching for extremely rare events surround their sensitive detectors with several layers of different shielding materials to protect them from external radiation and…
