The Quantum Galilei Group

Abstract

The quantum Galilei group $G_{\varkappa }$ is defined. The bicrossproduct structure of $G_{\varkappa }$ and the corresponding Lie algebra is revealed. The projective representations for the two-dimensional quantum Galilei group are constructed.
