Wobbling motion coupled to gamma vibration at high spin

Abstract

We report a solution of the tilted-axis cranked HFB equation for ${}^{164}$Hf, which shows wobbling motion coupled to gamma vibration at high spin ($J\simeq 60\hslash$). Possible anharmonicity and splitting of energy levels are also discussed as a consequence of the wobbling motion with large amplitude.
