Exact solvability in contemporary physics

Abstract

We review the theory for exactly solving quantum Hamiltonian systems through the algebraic Bethe ansatz. We also demonstrate how this theory applies to current studies in Bose-Einstein condensation and metallic grains which are of nanoscale size.
