On irreducibility of the family of ACM curves of degree 8 and genus 4 in $P_k^4$

Abstract

Let C be an arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay curve of arithmetic genus 4. We prove that the family of such curves of degree 8 in $P_k^4$ is irreducible.
