Universal Covers for Hausdorff Limits of Noncompact Spaces

Abstract

We prove that if $Y$ is the Gromov-Hausdorff limit of a sequence of complete manifolds, $M_i^n$, with a uniform lower bound on Ricci curvature then $Y$ has a universal cover.
