Acyclic resolutions for arbitrary groups

Abstract

We prove that for every abelian group G and every compactum X with ${\dim }_{G}X\le n\ge 2$ there is a G-acyclic resolution $r: Z \lo X$ from a compactum Z with ${\dim }_{G}Z\le n$ and $\dim Z\le n+1$ onto X.
