Classical solutions of the degenerate Garnier system and their coalescence structures

Abstract
We study the degenerate Garnier system which generalizes the fifth Painlevé equation. We present two classes of particular solutions, classical transcendental and algebraic ones. Their coalescence structure is also investigated.
