Geometry of Fermionic Constraints in Superstring Theories

Abstract

Considered are superparticle and superstring models invariant under supersymmetry in a target superspace and local extended worldsheet supersymmetry the latter replacing the fermionic $\kappa$--symmetry of the conventional Green--Schwarz formulations.
