Electroweak penguin amplitudes and constraints on in charmless decays
arXiv:hep-ph/9911429 · doi:10.1103/PhysRevD.62.014031
Abstract
Electroweak penguin (EWP) amplitudes are studied model-independently in meson decays to charmless final states consisting of a vector meson () and a pseudoscalar meson (). A set of SU(3) relations is derived between EWP contributions and tree amplitudes, in the approximation of retaining only the dominant EWP operators and . Two applications are described for constraining the weak phase , in and (or and ), and in and . Theoretical uncertainties are discussed.
