The Gaugino β-Function

Abstract

We present an elegant exact formula for the gaugino ${\hat{I}}^2$-function in a softly-broken supersymmetric gauge theory, of the form ${\hat{I}}_M^2=\mathcal{O}({\hat{I}}_g^2/g)$, where ${\hat{I}}_g^2$ is the gauge ${\hat{I}}^2$ function and $\mathcal{O}$ is a simple differential operator acting on the gauge coupling $g$ and the Yukawa coupling.
