Glueball Interpretation of $\hat{I}¾$(2230)

Abstract

On the basis of the results of $\hat{I}¾(2230)\to \ddot{I}{€}^{+}\ddot{I}{€}^{-},p\bar{p}$ and $K\bar{K}$, measured by the BES Collaboration in radiative J/$\ddot{I}ˆ$ decays, combined with the upper limit of Br($\hat{I}¾\to p\bar{p}$)Br($\hat{I}¾\to K\bar{K}$), measured by PS185 experiment, we argue that the distinctive properties of $\hat{I}¾$(2230), the flavor-symmetric decays and the narrow partial decay widths to $\ddot{I}€\ddot{I}€$ and $K\bar{K}$ as well as its copious production in radiative J/$\ddot{I}ˆ$ decay, would strongly favor the glueball interpretation of $\hat{I}¾$(2230).
