Search of $D_{sJ}^{\ast }$ mesons in $B$ meson decays

Abstract

We propose that the search of the $B\to D_{sJ}^{\ast }M$ decays, $M=D$, $\pi$ and $K$, can discriminate the different theoretical postulations for the nature of the recently observed $D_{sJ}^{\ast }$ mesons. The ratio of the branching ratios $B(B\to D_{sJ}^{\ast }M)/B(B\to D_s^{(\ast )}M)\approx 1$ (0.1) supports that the $D_{sJ}^{\ast }$ mesons are quark-antiquark (multi-quark) bound states. The Belle measurement of the $B\to D_{sJ}^{\ast }D$ branching ratios seems to indicate an unconventional picture.
