Electroweak baryogenesis mediated by locally supersymmetry-breaking defects
arXiv:hep-ph/0107314 · doi:10.1103/PhysRevD.64.083512
Abstract
We consider the scenario of electroweak baryogenesis mediated by cosmological defect in models of supersymmetry breaking. When the effective electroweak breaking scale is raised in the defect configuration, the mechanism of electroweak baryogenesis works at a higher energy scale. The baryon charge produced by the mechanism is captured in the defect, protected from sphalerons and then released when the defect decay.
