Heavy quarks on the lattice: status and perspectives

Abstract

The lattice method for the calculation of weak decay amplitudes of heavy quark systems is introduced. Results for leptonic and semi-leptonic decays of heavy mesons and $B-\bar{B}$ mixing are reviewed.
