The eta and eta' mesons in QCD

Abstract

We study the flavour singlet pseudoscalar mesons from first principles using lattice QCD. We explore the quark content of the $\hat{I}\cdot$ and $\hat{I}{\cdot }^{\prime }$ mesons and we discuss their decay constants.
