Study of B0 -> \bar{D}(*)0 pi+ pi- decays

Abstract

We report the results of a study of neutral B decays to the $D^0{\pi }^{+}{\pi }^{-}$ and $D^{\ast 0}{\pi }^{+}{\pi }^{-}$ final states using complete $D^{(\ast )0}$ reconstruction. The contributions from two-body $B\to D^{\ast \ast }\pi$ with narrow ($j_q=3/2$) $D^{\ast \ast }$ states and $B\to D^{(\ast )}\rho ,D^{(\ast )}{f}_2,D^{(\ast )}\sigma$ decays have been determined. All results are preliminary, and are based on a large data sample collected in the Belle experiment at the KEKB $e^{+}{e}^{-}$ collider.
