Results on $\sin 2{\varphi }_2(\alpha )$ from the B Factories

Abstract

The status of CP violation in $B^0\to {\pi }^{+}{\pi }^{-}$ and the determination of $\sin 2{\varphi }_2(\alpha )$ from the $B$ factories is described.
