About All-Charm Tetraquarks in S and P Waves

Abstract

We present a quantitative analysis of masses and decays of $cc\bar{c}\bar{c}$ tetraquarks, with diquarks and antidiquarks in S and P wave. We study explicitely the decays of the $4P-J^{PC}=3^{--},2^{--}$ into 4 muons and into hidden- and open-charm mesons and estimate its width and branching ratios. Based on our results and with the present sensitivity, LHCb, CMS and ATLAS should detect the $4P-J^{PC}=3^{--},2^{--}$ fully-charmed tetraquark. We note that one decay channel of the $4P-J^{PC}=2^{--}$could lead to the identification of the (still controversial) ${\chi }_{c1}(2P)$.
