Decay-Ramsey Sequences

arXiv:2610.20577

Abstract

Given a sequence of positive real numbers, we say that a colouring is -bounded if the proportion of edges coloured is at most , for all . We write \[ \mathbf{a}\, \to\, K_k \] if, for all sufficiently large , all -bounded colourings contain a monochromatic . We say that the sequence is \emph{Decay-Ramsey} if for all . In this short paper we introduce the question of determining which sequences are Decay-Ramsey and present some initial results.
