Berezin Ranges of Composition Operators on

arXiv:2610.17634

Abstract

We explore properties of the Berezin range of a composition operator on the Hardy space , including constraints on its location in the complex plane , topological properties, shape, symmetry, and convexity. For example, we show that , that is closed if and only if is the identity operator, and that containa all its boundary points except for if is compact. Addressing questions raised by Cowen and Felder, we show that can be a (nondegenerate) disk and characterize when is convex if is linear.
