Abstract
Consider placing the numbers consecutively around an -cycle. We ask for a given , which numbers can be written as a sum of consecutive numbers on the -cycle. If all numbers between and , the th triangular number, can be written as a sum this way we say the -cycle is complete. Our main result shows that for , -cycles are incomplete.
