Isomorphism Criterion of Monomial Digraphs over Prime Fields

Abstract
For any Galois field with elements and any positive integers and , the directed graph has vertex set , and there is an arc from vertex to vertex if and only if . It was conjectured in earlier work that two digraphs and are isomorphic if and only if there exists an integer relatively prime to such that and , where both congruences are modulo . We prove this conjecture over prime fields and construct an infinite family of counterexamples over extension fields.
