Abstract
We investigate the effective action of a 7-dimensional topological theory under a 4-dimensional reduction. We discuss the topological implications of the resulting theory and analyze the corresponding field equations. In particular, we derive exact solutions to these equations of motion in both Minkowski and Schwarzschild spacetimes.
