Abstract
We resolve the Rademacher singularity conjecture: an matrix with independent uniform entries is singular with probability . More generally, for an matrix with independent entries uniform on a fixed set of cardinality , we prove for all , , and , with and . Here denotes the least singular value, and is the sum of the probabilities of the events involving zero rows or columns and equal or opposite pairs of rows or columns.
