Abstract

Let , , be the attractor of a self-similar IFS whose rotations generate a dense subgroup of . For every and , we prove that has positive -dimensional Lebesgue measure uniformly in , and for Lebesgue-almost every . Moreover, if is a self-similar measure for such an IFS with for some , then every is equivalent to the -dimensional Lebesgue measure restricted to , with density satisfying . Under strong separation, the conditional measures on the fibres are exact dimensional of dimension . The proof uses self-similarity to iterate norms of differences of the Gaussian-smoothing of between scales. Unlike , , the norm does not grow under rescaling, allowing Varjú's weak gap theorem under dense support condition to be used, and avoiding to use the much stronger uniform spectral gap assumption.
