Abstract
We say that the Poisson operator is Schwarz-contractive from a space to a space if holds for all . The classical Schwarz lemma is the case , the subscript indicating zero mean. We are concerned with the non-holomorphic case . For real functions Schwarz-contractivity holds up to the sharp exponent . For complex functions we prove it for and conjecture that the critical exponent is .
