Mean Lindelöf Hypothesis and Prime Geodesic Theorem on Bianchi Manifolds

Abstract

In this paper, we prove the mean Lindelöf hypothesis for the second moment of symmetric square $L$-functions and thereby obtain the (unconditional) error bound $O(x^{36/23+\epsilon })$ in the prime geodesic theorem on Bianchi manifolds.
