Search for the baryonic decay $D_s^{\ast +}\to p\bar{n}$

Abstract

The first search for the baryonic decay $D_s^{\ast +}\to p\bar{n}$ is performed using $e^{+}{e}^{-}$ collision data taken at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 GeV, collected by the BESIII experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 7.33 fb${}^{-1}$. No significant signal is observed, and an upper limit on the branching fraction is set to be $1.3\times 10^{-4}$ at the $90\%$ confidence level.
