The Eaton--Moretó Conjecture Holds True for \(p\)-Solvable Groups

Abstract

In this paper we prove that the Eaton--Moretó conjecture holds true for all $p$-solvable groups.

There was an error in the proof of (5) (which is the last paragraph of page 5): By the preceding paragraph, $\tilde{\eta }$ extends to $G$. Here, $\tilde{\eta }$ should lie over $\theta$. However, this is not the case by the choice of $\eta$, leading to the error
