Characterization of Supporting Functionals at Points of the Unit Sphere of Orlicz-Lorentz Spaces

Abstract

In this paper we give a complete characterization of the supporting functionals at any point on the unit sphere of Orlicz-Lorentz spaces ${\Lambda }_{\phi ,\omega }$. Departing from traditional approaches, we establish our results without assuming that the Orlicz function $\phi$ is an N--function. These results provide a basis for studying the extremal structures of Orlicz-Lorentz spaces.
