Geometry of quadratic forms over a uniparametric family of squares

Abstract

We characterize the extreme points of the parametric space of quadratic forms on ${\mathbb{R}}^2$ endowed with the sup norm on the squares ${\square }_h:=[h,h+1]\times [0,1]$ with $h>0$.
