Abstract

We prove a colorful volume Helly theorem for convex sets in : There is a constant such that if are finite families of convex sets in and if for every transversal , then for some . Here is the Lebesgue measure of . The main ingredient is the following theorem. Let be convex quadrilaterals of area at most , where of course each is the intersection of 4 halfplanes.
