Abstract

Let denote the vector space of dimension over and AG denote the corresponding affine space. An of AG is a collection of affine subspaces that partition the points of AG. If all subspaces in have the same dimension , then is called an $\textit{affine $d$-spread}$. We say that an affine partition is if for any pair with , , where and are linear subspaces of , we have . An affine partition is said to be if there is no subset such that and the union of all subspaces in is a subspace of AG. For all and , we construct a completely tight irreducible affine -spread of AG. This also settles a recent conjecture of Bamberg et al. on the existence of tight irreducible affine -spreads.
