Block-exoticity of reduction simple fusion systems on $S(n,p)$

Abstract

In this paper, we prove that for $p\ge 13$ and $5\le n\le p-3$, every reduction simple fusion system on the finite $p$-group $S(n,p)$ is block-exotic. Furthermore, we establish the block-exoticity of three infinite families of reduction simple exotic fusion systems.
