Two Families of $q$-Supercongruences from Watson's Transformation

Abstract

In this paper, we establish two families of $q$-supercongruences modulo the third and fourth powers of a cyclotomic polynomial by employing Watson's ${}_8{\varphi }_7$ transformation, the creative microscoping method introduced by Guo and Zudilin, and the Chinese remainder theorem for coprime polynomials.
