arXiv:2603.14862

Abstract

For a real number , we study the negative -transformations, defined by for . It is known that for each , there exists a unique -invariant probability measure which is absolutely continuous with respect to the Lebesgue measure, denoted by . For two distinct non-integer real numbers , we prove that if and only if is a root of the quadratic equation (where and ) and . Furthermore, we show that satisfies the matching property for all generalized multinacci numbers . Finally, we prove that the simple -numbers, i.e., the numbers whose corresponding -shifts are subshifts of finite type, are dense in the parameter space .
