Observation and branching fraction measurements of $\ddot{I}{‡}_{cJ}\to p\bar{p}{K}_S^0{K}_S^0$

Abstract

Based on $(2.712\pm 0.014)\times 10^9$ $\ddot{I}ˆ(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, the decays $\ddot{I}{‡}_{cJ}\to p\bar{p}{K}_S^0{K}_S^0$ ($J=0,1,2$) are observed for the first time with statistical significances exceeding $5\ddot{I}ƒ$.The measured branching fractions are $\mathcal{B}(\ddot{I}{‡}_{c0}\to p\bar{p}{K}_S^0{K}_S^0)=(6.94\pm 0.30\pm 0.38)\times 10^{-5}$, $\mathcal{B}(\ddot{I}{‡}_{c1}\to p\bar{p}{K}_S^0{K}_S^0)=(1.30\pm 0.12\pm 0.08)\times 10^{-5}$, and $\mathcal{B}(\ddot{I}{‡}_{c2}\to p\bar{p}{K}_S^0{K}_S^0)=(2.54\pm 0.17\pm 0.15)\times 10^{-5}$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. In addition, no significant structures are observed in the $p\bar{p}$, $p{K}_S^0$, and $\bar{p}{K}_S^0$ mass spectra.
