Continuous-in-time Bubbling for the Energy-Critical Heat Flow

arXiv:2512.18840

Abstract

We show that any finite energy solution of the energy-critical nonlinear heat flow in dimensions asymptotically resolves into a sum of possibly time-dependent solitons, a weak limit when the flow exists for finite time, and an error term that vanishes in the energy space. As a consequence, under the additional assumption that the initial data is nonnegative, we settle the Soliton Resolution Conjecture.
