Abstract

In 1977, Chung, Chung and Liu generalized the definition of the Ramsey number. They introduced the -chromatic Ramsey number as follows. Let be integers and let be subsets with size of , where . For given graphs , the {\it -chromatic Ramsey number} , is the minimum positive integer such that every -coloring of yields a copy of whose edges are colored by colors in the color set for some . The {\it star-critical -chromatic Ramsey number} , is the minimum integer such that every -coloring of the edges in yields a copy of whose edges are colored by colors in the color set for some , where . If , then we simplify them to (also called the {\it weakened Ramsey number}) and , respectively. In this paper, we determine all the values of and , and part of the value of .
