How many miles from $L_{\infty }$ to ${\ell }_{\infty }$?

Abstract

The classical Banach spaces $L_{\infty }[0,1]$ and ${\ell }_{\infty }$ are isomorphic. We present here some lower and upper bounds for their Banach-Mazur distance.
