WZW Partition Functions from Supersymmetric Localization

Abstract
We prove a conjecture of Murthy and Witten which expresses diagonal modular invariant WZW partition functions as lattice sums.
v2, proved the latest version of the Murthy-Witten conjecture with the extra sign factor, added a footnote explaining the derivation of the sign factor from the classical WZW term, removed the second half of the v1 on nondiagonal invariants as the physical interpretation of that computation is unclear
