Abstract

Using precise data from the BESIII collaboration, we obtained compelling evidence of a subthreshold pole in the $e^{+} e^{-} \to D_{s}^{+} D_{s}^{-}$ process with mass of (3896 $_{- 22}^{+ 13}$ )~MeV. The latter suggests the identification of this subthreshold pole with the $G$ (3900) state, which behaves as a resonance in the $e^{+} e^{-} \to D D ˉ$ processes.
