Helicons in tilted-Weyl semimetals

Abstract
We investigate the helicon modes in gapless tilted 3d Weyl semimetals(WSMs) within a semiclassical Boltzmann approach with the inclusion of the orbital magnetic moment. These are transverse electromagnetic modes in three-dimensional (3D) electron systems in the presence of a static magnetic field. We calculate the conductivity tensor and show that the helicon modes exist in tilted WSMs. The degeneracy of all the gapped collective modes at the long-wavelength limit is unaffected by the tilting of the Weyl nodes.
