Abstract
We study linear operators , especially for the purpose to move sets into cones : . We develop the theory of (semi-)groups of operators on , which requires techniques from regular Fréchet Lie groups. We study the special case of making non-negative polynomials with and into sums of squares: . With , for , a memory of at most is required. Matrix multiplications , , , and of with any require at most operations. Transformations and of vectors require at most operations. Calculating of requires only one (!) operation.
