Upper bound on the multiplicity of eigenvalues of the Schödinger-Dirichlet operator in dimension two

Abstract

We establish an upper bound on the multiplicity of eigenvalues of the Schödinger-Dirichlet operator in dimension two. We give a proof based on a generalized Morse Lemma due to Cheng \cite{Ch}.
