Abstract
Let be a connected graph on vertices with girth . Let denote the number of Laplacian eigenvalues of graph in an interval . In this paper, we show that if is not a cycle, then . Moreover, we prove that if and only if or or , where is obtained from a cycle by joining a single vertex with a vertex of this cycle.
