Birkhoff-James orthogonality: A Minimax Theorem approach

Abstract
In this paper, we present an elementary proof of the Bhatia-Å emrl Theorem, utilizing the Minimax Theorem for bounded linear operators by Asplund and Ptak [1]. Some related results are also discussed.
