Bayesian correction of cosmic chronometers data with systematic errors

arXiv:2501.05277

Abstract

We show that the 32 data from cosmic chronometers have overestimated uncertainties and make use of a Bayesian method to correct and reduce it. We then use the corrected data to constrain flat CDM and OCDM parameters. For the flat CDM model, we got as result km s Mpc and . While for the OCDM model, we found km s Mpc, and . These results goes from up to uncertainty reduction when compared to the constraints of the both uncorrected models.
