Maximal $\hat{I}›(p)$-subsets of manifolds

Abstract

We construct maximal $\hat{I}›(p)$-subsets on a large class of curved manifolds, in an optimal range of Lebesgue exponents $p$. Our arguments combine restriction estimates and decoupling with old and new probabilistic estimates.
